Commuting mobility practices

Description

This dataset was collected as part of a test campaign for the mobility toolkit developed at EPFL https://platyp-dev.epfl.ch 
It is fully anonymized, and shared with the purpose of enabling mobility researchers to explore and visualize commuting practices.

Files in this dataset

• `sample_dataset_mobility_practices.csv`: The mobility practices data. See `data_dictionary_mobility_practices.csv` for variable descriptions.
•  `data_dictionary_mobility_practices.csv`: A data dictionary explaining the variables in the CSV file.

Potential uses

The adjectives can be analyzed via natural language processing techiniques for sentiment analysis.
The frequencies of use of different modes of transport can be used to visualize commuting mode share.
Household equipment data as well as travel time can be used to contextualize the above analyses.
